A message from our creator:

Hello! My name is Genevieve Kopp and I am a Girl Scout in Vienna, Virginia. This website, as well as the field trip program at Marshall Road Elementary School and the bat boxes in Southside Park are all a part of my Gold Award project. My goal was to teach people more about bats and their vital roles in our ecosystem, and to help people find ways to be environmentally friendly in their own homes. I hope that throughout your experience with our program you learned something, and had a few laughs along the way!
